 Day 01: Puerto Maldonado - Monkey IslandArrival to Puerto Maldonado and transfer to the port where we board our boat and begin an unforgettable journey through the Madre de Dios River. Along the way, you can see the alligators, turtles, herons and other animals. Arrival at the Lodge, an exquisite taste typical welcome drink and we will settle into our bungalows, then lunch. In company with our specialized guide we will visit Monkey Island located just five minutes of Hostel in the middle of the Madre de Dios River, Monkey Island shelters different species of monkeys from maquisapas noisy, colorful and impressive achuñis friars to small and gay lions.
