For your trip to Peru, we recommend:

For the climate:

  • For the coast, such as Lima, Ica, Nazca, is advisable to wear light clothing, maybe sportswear, shoes, swimwear, etc but in the months of November and April, which is not summer, the Peruvian coast is humid and low temperatures.
  • For the saw, as Cusco, Arequipa, Huaraz, Puno, we recommend taking the day clothes a little light, but at night as in Cusco, Puno and Huaraz bring coats or jackets, if you visit these sites between November and April is advisable to wear thermal clothing impermeable because no one knows when is going to rain, but if you visit these sites on other dates, bundle up at night!
  • For the forest, Puerto Maldonado, Tambopata, Iquitos, damo, just light clothing, hats and maybe boots for jungle walks, but if you're up you'll have a lodge and you'll have everything at hand, do not forget a good mosquito repellent and a super camera.

For cities:

  • Like any world capital, Lima (La Ciudad de los Reyes) has many attractions but mostly colonial Lima with an excellent infrastructure, restaurants, hostels, shopping centers, etc ... We must take into account the security is not appropriate for us to separate groups meet and decide on our own, except in areas secured by the guides. Lima has more than 8 million inhabitants and is a big city that can easily confuse us, but if you follow the guide has nothing to worry about.
  • Cities such as Arequipa, Cusco, Ica, Puno, Huaraz, are smaller and with less population but the security measures are not in most, though our cameras and secure baggage that we carry in hand can save us from any trouble.
  • Do not take sub-standard service price and quality as it can be easily cheated, just remember that you will pay just.
  • Do not change money on the street or carry large amounts of money in the bag.

  • Do not forget to drink plenty of fluid in the excursions, especially that it is packaged or pre-sterilized.

For adventure:

  • If you going to do Rafting (canoeing) is essential to carry more than one full of clothes, also good especially dark glasses to prevent glare on the water, all must be well anchored to your body, you will not have hands to hold them, especially pay close attention to the pre-tour talk.
  • If you walk for more than 1 day, a good sleeping bag will help you a lot, pack what is necessary, good boots and a raincoat for rain especially in the mountains.
