Location: In the department of La Libertad is located the Trujillo city and there is on the north coast of Peru and covers coast, mountains, jungle. It borders to the north with Lambayeque, to the south with Ancash and Huánuco, to the east with San Martin and Cajamarca, to the west with Sea of Grau.

Trujillo City Mansion
The City of Trujillo has spectacular churches that were built by the Spanish with golden altars in Baroque style and filled the city with convents and schools, as well as houses and artistic gates, sunlit patios, rooms with finely carved furniture and cabinets’ embossed leather. It also has other tourist attractions like the citadel of Chan Chan, the royal tombs of the Lord of Sipan. During the XVIII century, because of numerous attacks by pirates, they built walls are still visible. In 1619 an earthquake destroyed the city. Years later in 1624 began a new era of boom to rebuild palaces. Trujillanos aristocrats actively participated in the independence war to support the forces of San Martin. On December 29, 1820, the town of Trujillo, met at the parade and the Marquis of Torre Tagle proclaimed the independence of Peru. Trujillo has tasty food like the famous Ceviche, Cabrito with beans, Shambar, theologian soup, Beans to Trujillana, Pepian turkey, Fish to Trujillana.
