


Pikimachay:
To 24 km. from the city of Ayacucho and 30 minutes by car. In this place the found bones and lithic remains which are considered the oldest in South America, dating back approximately of 20000 years BC.
Lauricocha:
This district, which during colonial times was an important Spanish settlement and show up one tourist circuit.
Lauricocha Temple: The Lauricocha city has a colonial temple, featuring architectural beauty for its baroque and gothic style.
The Mansion: The ruins of the house of General Antonio Jose De Sucre (1824), the historians say this house was belong to the rancher Don Delfin Ludeña, where he stayed General Sucre, in its passage for this town, in his persecution of the viceroy La Serna, who escaped from the patriots. This house has in its façade the paint his portrait of Sucre.
Huatuscalle Canyon: The canyon is ideal for adventure sports and rafting. It is located to the left of the road linking the districts of Lauricocha and Santillana, where is located the Huatuscalle Lord Church.
Waterfalls: We found Manzanayuq and Munti Kuchu waterfalls, impressive natural waterfalls.
Observatories: The Pachapunya Observatory is where we found the cross of Pachapunya Lord and observatory; also we can find Ichu Cruz Canyon where you can appreciate the majesty of perfect nature for photos.
Puyas of Raimondi: Ayacucho access is by road and from there you walk around 3 hours. It is estimated that the number of copies that we can find is approximately 140000 units and it is located in Vischongo District, Vilcashuaman Province 120 km. to the southeast of Ayacucho City and it covers an area of 460 hectares.
The Puya Raimondi is a perennial plant of the bromeliads family, whose trunk is cylindrical and fluffy, which is protected always by foliar spines that left to burn the lefts. The custom that will practice the villagers is preventing the damage from the grazing animals. Surprisingly, each fruit gives an average of 800 seeds and plant 6 million in total. The Puya Raimondi doesn’t have flowers and for that are very appealing, their purple spots and the plant reaching heights of up to 20 meters.
Vilcashuaman: A 120 km. to the south of Ayacucho and approximately 4 hours by car and this place was administrative center of the Incas, between of these constructions it find the Sun and Moon Temple, an others one’s like Ushnu, Ceremonial Pyramids, etc.
